Returns

We’ve all bought something online and decided later that it’s not for us… or perhaps it was a gift for someone and not quite what they were after.  Not a problem!

We happily accept returns of any product in resalable condition for any reason within 30 days of delivery.

Unfortunately goods that have been personalised are very rarely resalable.

You can find details of our returns policy below.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

 

How do I return an item?

The first thing to do is contact us with information about what you want to return and details of your proof of purchase such as your order number.  You can use our Contact Form or email hello@outdoorworkshop.co.uk.

We will send you the returns address and you can post it back to us by any service you like.  We strongly advise that you return items to us by recorded delivery, just in case as we are only able to issue a refund once the item gets back to us in resalable condition.  Please aim to send the item to us within 14 days of telling us you would like to return an item.

 

 

Do I still have to pay for postage?

If you are returning your entire order, we will reimburse you 50% of the cheapest postage option for your original delivery as a gesture of goodwill.  Unfortunately we do not cover the postage cost to return your items (but we aren’t in a hurry so you can use cheaper services).

 

If you are only returning part of your order, you won’t be eligible for any reimbursement.

 

 

When will I get my money back?

Whilst we aim to do things as fast as possible (same day if we can) we will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your items.  Once processed, banks can take up to 5 working days to transfer the money back to you.  If you are in a hurry, please contact us.

 

 

What if an item arrived with a fault?

In the extremely unlikely event that an item arrives to you faulty, contact us as soon as possible to arrange the return of the item at our expense.  Please do not arrange shipping yourself as we will not be able to reimburse you.

When contacting us, it is important to include as much detail about the fault (and send pictures if you can).  You should also include details of your proof of purchase such as your order number and whether you would like a repair, replacement, or refund.

Once returned to us, the item will be inspected for the fault.  You will be reimbursed in full for the item and original delivery (if there were no other items in your order).  If no fault is found, you will be required to cover the cost of returning the item back to us.
