We offer a guarantee with everything we sell.  Depending on whether the item is new or pre-loved will depend on which guarantee is provided. See below for information about each type of guarantee.

6 Month Guarantee on Pre-loved items

 

It can be daunting purchasing second goods, especially when the items are designed to keep you warm or dry.  That’s why we offer a 6 month guarantee on all of our pre-loved products.

 

So what does that mean for me?

If the pre-loved item you purchased from develops a fault within 6 months of purchasing from us (and it hasn’t been abused), we’ll give you the choice of a repair or a refund!

1 Year Guarantee on New items

 

In a world of big business and mass production, buying items made by small brands can be scary.  That’s why we offer a one year guarantee on all of our new products.

 

So what does that mean exactly?

If the new item you bought from us develops a fault within a year of purchasing it, we’ll offer you a repair or replacement free of charge.  If this is not possible, we will offer you a full refund.

9 Month Guarantee on Services*

​

Sometimes it feels like a bit of a risk repairing or reproofing an item and maybe it’s just easier to buy new.  That’s why we offer a 9 month guarantee on all of our apparel repair and reproofing services.

​

So what is covered?

If the repair or reproofing we have performed fails within 9 months of us returning it to you, we’ll do it again absolutely free.

​

For apparel repair: If the second repair fails within 9 months (and it hasn’t been abused) we’ll refund you.

​

For clothing cleaning & reproofing: as reproofing is recommended every 6-12 months for clothing, we will only perform one free reproof within the 9 month period which starts when the item is returned to you after the first reproofing.  All waterproof clothing is tested before and after reproofing.  Please let us know if there any specific areas causing trouble so we can test them.

Boot cleaning/reproofing: is recommended after every few uses in the wet.  Whilst we still guarantee our work for 9 months, it is important that you care for your boots properly after we send them back to you as this may void the guarantee.

*Repairs and Reproofing for non-apparel items and equipment are not covered by this guarantee, please ask when making your initial repair enquiry and we will be happy to supply a guarantee that is specific to the repair we make.

Terms and Conditions for All Guarantees

​

Guarantees do not cover misuse or abuse of items.

​

Replacement items / refunds will not be issues until the item under guarantee has been inspected by us and the fault found and recorded.

​

All returned products are tested for faults described by you.

​

If no fault is found, we are not liable for any costs incurred by you including shipping.

​

You must provide a proof of purchase to show the item was purchased within the period of guarantee.  If you have lost this, please help us by providing any information that will help us to find our record of the transaction.

 

We photograph all items before/after our services for our own records.
