Hiker Hounds

Gemma and Colm love dogs.  Their dogs, your dogs, any dogs.  HikerHounds began life as a dog walking service when Gemma gave up her 9-to-5 to be around four-legged fur-balls full-time!

 

After getting through lead after lead, Gemma decided it was time to make her own dog accessories that were tough enough to withstand daily adventures with all manner of pups.  Gemma’s dad, Bill, offered up some time-tested and super hardy marine knots from his time in the Navy and the first lead was made.

 

Over the past few years the leads and collars have been rigorously tried and tested on daily adventures around their home in Northern Ireland.  This real world testing in combination with Gemma’s passion and talent for her craft are just two reasons why Gemma and Colm believe and HikerHounds collar or lead will be the best you’ve ever had!
