Hanging By A Fred

Hanging By A Fred was inspired by Freddie’s father (the original Freddie Matthews) who had a true passion for climbing and mountaineering which took him all over the world.  After Freddie’s dad suddenly passed away in 2015, she got to work creating a few beautiful keep-sakes and mementos from the vast collection of roped he had left behind, starting with woven mats and rope bowls.

 

Since then, her range of products has grown to include survival accessories, jewellery, pet products, and all sorts of homeware.  We can’t wait to see what comes next so watch this space for new products from Hanging By A Fred!

 

Freddie runs this wonderful business around her day job as a local superhero in Northumberland.  From our first call with her we knew we had to have her on-board so thankfully she liked us too!
